Premium SPF Flattening
We dynamically flatten your SPF record, and there are no limits to the number of host names,
A-records, MX-records or Include Statements.
You retain complete control over your SPF record, you don’t need to learn a new control panel or give up the way you currently manage your domain and DNS records.
A real example
Say your domain name is yourdomain.com
You’ll have a DNS TXT record for yourdomain.com that looks something like this:
- “v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all”
To use proSPF all you need to do is make a copy of that TXT record and use it for a new hostname: prospf.yourdomain.com
Then update your SPF record to simply be:
- “v=spf1 redirect=yourdomain.secure.prospf.net”
That’s it! The proSPF.cloud engine reads the contents of prospf.yourdomain.com every hour and regenerates a flattened SPF record at the redirect address shown above.
Whenever you send an email to someone, their email server will look up the SPF record for yourdomain.com, get redirected to the custom flattened record we’ve generated for you, and approve your email.
proSPF’s DNS servers are hosted on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform – so they’re geographically dispersed and run a high performance version of BIND9 from the ISC.
We read the value of prospf.yourdomain.com every hour, run it through the proSPF flattening engine, and immediately update your SPF record on our servers.
We run a high performance, highly secure version of BIND9 from the ISC, with low TTL values for your SPF record. So any changes you make will be picked up quickly.
